Two Month Old Update
At two months Oran has become a cross country traveler visiting Seattle for the first time. And, we are glad that he still likes to sleep a lot, especially on long airplane trips...
However, Oran is also waking up to the world. He delights us with smiles and wide open alert eyes. He loves to study his mobile, bright colored toys and bright pictures in books. He likes to be carried in his Maya Wrap- very close to Mom, in the Bjorn- great for walking with Dad, and in a sling- good for nursing. He is totally happy as long as he is being carried close to somebody!

Well Baby Check-Up
Oran was again declared a perfect baby at his 2 month check up! Since his last appointment 4 weeks ago he had grown from 7 pounds to 9 pounds 3 ounces, and from 21 and 1/4 inches long to 22 and 1/2 inches. He also got his first round of immunizations. He handled it amazingly well- nursing helped of course...he was fussy and uncomfortable for a couple of hours after the shots were given but slept well for the remainder of the day.

Grannie's Visit
Grannie Kip came to visit on her way to join Grampie Stanley where he was studying music in Greece. Grannie was excited to see how much Oran had grown in the four weeks since she had last seen him. She noticed that he had a lot more energy, was even more alert than before, and still loved his Grannie!
