April '07 - Aunt Katie Comes to Visit

Aunt Katie came to see us the first really warm weekend of spring...it was so much fun!












We went to the park...

April '07 - Brushing Teeth with Daddy

April '07 - Grannie and Grampie Visit!

Grannie and Grampie took me to the "tot lot" at the park. It is the playground for people who are my size, but Grannie and Grampie fit right in.










Grannie took me down the slide...



















I actually like to climb up the slide...













Later we went to the swings...Grannie and Grampie sure do like to push!

























And Grampie knows how to make it extra fun!




























The next day it rained, so we stayed inside...I learned how to climb the step stool...



















I love it when Grannie and Grampie visit!

April '07 - Update

Well, my mom reminded me that it has been a long time since my last update- and it was high time I let everyone know what's been going on...As you will see in the posts below, since I last blogged, Grannie (Kip) has visited me in Brooklyn, I spent a week in Seattle with my cousin Will, and Aunt Becca and Uncle Mark, and Grandmama (Lucy) and Grandpa (Phil) have visited me two times! A lot has been going on.

In other news- I now am the proud owner of two front bottom teeth. At my 9-month check-up (I'm actually officially 9-months April 12, but we went a bit early) I weighed in at 18 pounds, measured in at 28 1/4 inches (though the doctor said I may be longer- I wiggled so much she had a hard time getting my length) and I was given a clean bill of health.

My mom and I thought it would be fun to remind you all what I looked like my first week home when I was only 20 inches and 6 pounds!



























Time for the toothbrush- I have teeth now!

March '07 - Seattle: Me and Will

I went to Seattle in March to see my cousin Will. I was excited to get to know him by climbing...but he wasn't so sure...














I did some strange things...













I admit it- like climbing under the exersaucer when he was inside of it...












He felt more comfortable when there was a safety zone around us...












Then we hung out some more...













We realized that we have a lot in common...













Being stuck on the couch together was fun...













Really fun...













Now, you can't keep us apart!
